Institution of Fire Engineers,
Australia
Welcome to the official website
of the Australian
Branch of the IFE
The institution is the international qualifying organisation and learned society for fire engineering,
firefighting and fire safety professionals.
IFE is at the heart of the international fire and emergency community, promoting best practice and advancing the discipline for the benefit of society and supporting the professional development of members.
In Australia, we have around 700 members, and are one of the largest Branches in the world. A National Secretariat provides support to local co-ordinators in each of the states and territories who in turn have the ear of the grass roots membership. The entire infrastructure is about providing direct and tangible benefits to the individuals in the field.
We are currently totally
rebuilding our website to make it more user friendly. Come back
