IFE Australia The International Organisation for Fire Professionals Assessment Scheme for RPEQ Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland For Professional Fire Safety Engineers applying to practice in the area of fire engineering in Queensland IFE Australia is now an assessment entity on behalf of the Board of Professional Engineers Queensland (BPEQ). As a consequence IFE Australia are now providing assessment of an individual’s qualifications, competencies, experience and continuing fire engineering knowledge based on the Engineering Council’s assessment policy for Chartered Engineers applying to practice in the area of fire engineering.
The assessment process consists of five stages;
§ Your application is checked to see that all the parts of the application have been addressed and supporting documents have been lawfully validated as being a true representation of the original. § Referees are contacted to substantiate the information provided by the applicant. § The application is reviewed by the review panel. § If the review panel are satisfied that the applicant is suitable for interview a date and time will be arranged for the interview to take place. § If at interview the applicant is deemed as having attained all the requirements set by IFE Australia and the Engineering Council a recommendation will be made by IFE Australia to the BPEQ that the applicant has been assessed as achieving the requirements to be registered as RPEQ in the field of Fire Engineering.
